Fish Building in Hyderabad, India
The National Fisheries Development Board building, affectionately dubbed the "Fish Building", serves as the headquarters of the National Fisheries Development Board. Its architecture is allegedly inspired by Frank Gehry's "Fish" sculpture in Barcelona.
It is considered a local landmark and is an example of novelty architecture. The building became operative in 2012, garnering a variety of responses from public and architects alike, ranging from praise to disapproval.
However, the building is not open for public use. It is a government building that is fully functional.
