The news was announced on Wednesday. EA Sports announced that not only will Jackson return to Madden 22 coins the game for the first time after Madden NFL 15 in 1987, but Jackson will also have the privilege of being an official Madden cover athlete. In the next 35 years, nearly 35 years since his NFL career began in 1987, Jackson has been selected to be on the digital cover of Madden NFL 22. Beginning on Friday, players will once again be capable of playing with him in virtual reality. EA Sports also teamed up with Nike to recreate the company's iconic Bo Knows ad campaign by creating a digitally rendered version of his signature shoe which is the Nike Air Bo Turf which is incorporated into the game.
Jackson was the 7th running back designated a Madden cover athlete. This follows Eddie George (Madden 2001), Marshall Faulk (Madden 2003), Shaun Alexander (Madden 2007), Peyton Hillis (Madden 12), Adrian Peterson and Barry Sanders (both Madden 25).

What does it mean to you to finally be a cover athlete for the game, 35 years after the start of your career?
This has been in preparation in the background for years. It was time to get it suitable for my business. The teaming up with the Madden people to buy Madden nfl 22 coins get things sorted out, check all the i's and dot all the t's- once we got that done, the rest was just going for it. I realized that somewhere in my history, I did something right so that I could be looked at as one of the most famous sportsmen from more than thirty years ago.
